Please note that (ADK) is a Microsoft’s proprietor tool & can be obtained from the Microsoft download center for free, presented you have a genuine Windows installation. If we haven’t installed this toolkit yet, click Download ADK to get it directly from the Microsoft website. Alternatively, we will need to browse for the needed folder. If we installed ADK by its default location, the media builder wizard automatically detects it.
You will furthermore need it to create an ISO image of the WinPE environment. If this is your case, Choose media creation mode (Use ADK). Though, several system builders remove this image from preinstalled Windows OS.
Paragon Recovery Media Builder doesn’t require Deployment Kit (ADK) and Windows Assessment to be installed in the system to create a WinPE-based environment, as it can directly use WIM image inside the operating system. Under Settings & Tools and then select Recovery Media Builder.
